Fortune has published the annual ranking of largest U.S. companies by revenue since 1955. According to the publication, companies on this year’s list represent two-thirds of the U.S. GDP with $13.7 trillion in revenues, $1.1 trillion in profits, $22.6 trillion in market value, and employ 28.7 million people worldwide. J.B. Hunt first appeared on the Fortune 500 in 2013 at #485. Earlier this year, the company was recognized as one of the World’s Most Admired Companies for 2019 by Fortune.
